What we Do

Swansea Print Workshop is a not for profit organisation dedicated to:

  • the promotion of drawing and printmaking practices within the community
  • the provision of high quality facilities and equipment to support these practices.

Swansea Print Workshop provides a platform for the exchange of information, the delivery of specialist workshops, and in-service training for professional artists.

A regular programme of workshops encourages and supports those wishing to make careers in the field of Fine Art printmaking, whether as practitioners, technicians or administrators and provides a professional workshop context in which beginners can work alongside professional artists.

Within the context of a substantial history of outreach work Swansea Print Workshop has demonstrated the special potential printmaking has, to deliver added value to the national curriculum. Printmaking provides a rich and diverse creative opportunity particularly accessible to beginners and non artists.
